Our staff will welcome you in person when you arrive at the Great White House in Kleinbaai: Sone Boshoff (Marketing), Marilie Coetzee (Reservations), Ronelle Swart (Accountant), Zile de Kock (Marketing), and Natalie Marthinus (Reservations), Alison Towner and Hennie Otto. Our two friendly crew members, Benz Nomandela and Warren Titus, will make your day a memorable one. Both Benz and Warren are from the local community, and have a deep knowledge of the area.. Wilfred Chivell is an experienced skipper, diver, naturalist and conservationist. He has extensive knowledge about sharks, whales, seabirds and other marine wildlife. Alison Towner: Alison joined Marine Dynamics in January 2007; she is the Marine biologist/tour guide on board Shark fever. Alison, originally from England graduated with a Marine biology Bsc from the University of North Wales Bangor in 2006 and followed her dreams to work with the White shark in South Africa. Alison is also aqualified Padi instructor with dive work experience in the Mediterranean and Red sea. She occasionally enjoys taking her crew and friends for Scuba dives in Gansbaai when there is spare time! Her duties on board are to assist with divers and educate and take photo id’s of the shark sand data. She definitely appreciates the help of volunteers in season! Alison also gives the pre-trip presentation before going to sea so you can ask her plenty of questions and she’ll be more than happy to help! Warren Titus: Warren is a trainee skipper and Dive master on board Shark Fever. He joined Marine Dynamics in 2006.Apart from being a dedicated crew member and expert bait line handler, Warren enjoys mixing up excellent chum, and helps get us some amazing action around the boat. Warren is also a qualified SA tour guide so he can chat away about all the marine life in the bay- not just the sharks. People often laugh at his distinguishing looks- we have our very own Will Smith on board! Benz Nomandela: Benz is level 3 in first aid and a lifeguard from the East coast. His duty on board is deckhand bait handler and chumming. Benz enjoys telling the divers exactly what they must do in the cage and often has lots of fun with them. Benz joined Marine dynamics in 2007 and continues to work hard as a team member. He makesl ifting the anchor look too easy sometimes! He is always ready to help and often expertly spots sharks when they are still far away from the vessel. A keen eye really helps us out and his friendly smile to go with! Hennie Otto: General Manager/Qualified skipper since 1992 fished commercially in the area and joined Marine Dynamics in September 2008. Hennie is a real professional when it comes to the area of Gansbaai. His in depth knowledge of where the reefs lie and where the sharks have been seen when hunting yellow tail provides a key to some wonderful shark trips, as well as keeping everyone safe and comfortable on board.Hennie always enjoys chatting about the marine life in the bay and with his aqua culture background he really understands the importance of each marine animal in the ecosystem. Hennie is currently studying a degree in Environmental management which he has undertaken as part of an Open University program. He is unparalleled when it comes to dedication and brings a real airof professionalism on board our vessel.
Clarence Ngcwembe: Clarence is our professional videographer on board Shark Fever. He joined Fast Trax Marine in 2005 filming the whole Marine Five including Southern Right Whales from on board our very own Whale watching vessel the ‘Whale Whisperer’. He became a crew member on Shark fever in 2008 and continues to help out with all duties on board including anchor lifting and helping divers w ith wetsuits. Also originally from the Eastern Cape Clarence has grown up on the ocean and expertly captures unforgettable moments for our people to take home with them and watch over again. Clarence knows exactly how to film yours and the Great White Sharks good angle- both under and on top of the ocean! Other crew members that will make your day a memorable one:

Alison Towner: Alison joined Marine Dynamics in January 2007; she is the Marine biologist/tour guide on board Shark fever.
